Water “Problem/Solution” Assessment

A Ground and Rainwater Problem and Solution Assessment focuses on drainage and infiltration issues, evaluating how rainwater and lightly used residential “wastewater” is managed on a property.

Assessing the effectiveness of existing drainage systems, the potential for stormwater runoff, and the soil’s ability to absorb water. Solutions may include optimizing drainage design, creating swales or permeable surfaces, and improving rainwater infiltration through techniques like dry wells or infiltration basins.

The goal is to prevent flooding, reduce erosion, and enhance groundwater recharge by improving water absorption and management.

Passive Rainwater Harvesting Systems

Passive rainwater harvesting involves capturing and storing rainwater through natural processes without the use of pumps or external energy sources.

This can be achieved through methods like directing runoff from roofs and surface water into ponds, swales, rain gardens to slow and spread rainwater so it can be used to its highest potential before being infiltrated into the soil. Additionally, it’s environmentally sustainable and requires minimal maintenance.

Active Rainwater Harvesting Systems

Grey Water Systems

Permaculture & Regenerative Project Support

I can offer unit pricing for support services needed by designers and landowners. Such as delivery of bulk materials like organic matter, compost, mulch, gravel, or boulders for building features like raised beds, pathways, or rock walls with 5 and 10 yard dump trucks. as well as support permaculture and regenerative projects by using dump trucks and excavation equipment to efficiently move materials and reshape the land in a way that promotes sustainability.

Excavation equipment can be used to create swales, berms, terraces, and ponds, which help manage water flow, prevent erosion, and enhance soil fertility. Dump trucks can transport. Additionally, excavation equipment can help create spaces for food forests or design keyline systems, improving water retention and supporting biodiversity.

By utilizing these tools, the contractor helps implement regenerative practices that restore and enhance the land’s natural resources.
